He’s Just Not That Into You

We as women make up excuses for why men do the things they do. Honestly, we just need to stop. Their actions are their actions. We can’t keep taking responsibility for them. A man is a man nothing more and nothing less. As a woman putting your foot down is the best thing you can do when it comes to dating. I’m not saying play hard to get or be the most dominant person in the world, but you have to take care of yourself. I watched this movie a few years back called “He’s Just Not That Into You”. I learned a lot from that movie about dating. I recently read a blog that had my favorite quote from the movie in it.

“If he misses you, he’ll call. If he wants you, he’ll say it. And if he cares, he’ll show it. If not, he can’t be worth your time because you’re obviously not worth his.”

– He Just Not That Into You

I know I find myself doing this more often than I should. I shouldn’t be making up excuses on why men do the things they do. When the good morning text messages stop coming its because may be he’s tired. He doesn’t call as often. He’s always busy and tired. I haven’t seen him in 3 month. Yes 3 months. He has to work and he can’t get off. EXCUSES EXCUSES EXCUSES

JUST STOP IT KARLY! If a man wants to be with you he will be with you no and’s, if’s, or but’s. You can’t make him a priority and you’re not even on his daily to do list. Stop making up excuses on why men do the things they do. It’s going to suck to move on but you will find someone else. The way life works is simple. You find someone you fall for them either it works out or it doesn’t. The carousel never stops turning baby girl.  Life goes on. Sometimes we are afraid to let go because we are scared that we are going to miss out on that person. Honestly if its meant to work out they will come back. Just remember to put yourself first. If he wants you he won’t stop doing what he did when he first met you to get your attention.

  1. There is seriously sooo much wisdom to be taken from that movie! I too find myself too often making excuses for others. Its a difficult but powerful realization that you’re probably not a priority to them if you have to make those kind of excuses. But it also helps you weed out out a lot of dodo’s. Keep your standards high. You’ve got this 🙂
